What is Solid Stock Art?
Solid Stock Art LLC, is a company that allows you to purchase stock art via our website to be used in advertising, public works, personal works, etc., on a royalty-free system, which allow you to purchase the rights to the stock art found on our website. Where is my download history?
Your download history is also your download recovery page. While logged in, click on your username at the top right, or "Account Home" from the Navigate tab located top center of the site. This will bring you to your account home page. On the left under "Account" you'll see a link called "Purchased Stock Art". You must have a Solid Stock Art Account and be logged in. The Purchased Stock Art page allows you to see all the stock photos and illustrations you've purchased and can be downloaded again, if need be. Beware, we do keep track of how many times you've downloaded any given file, so to keep from being flagged as a shoplifter use sparingly. You can learn more about Purchase Recovery here.
Where are my receipts?
Receipts are found in your account home. While logged in, click on your username at the top left, or "Account Home" from the Navigate tab located top center of the site. This will bring you to your account home page. On the left under "Account" you'll see a link called "Receipts". You must have a Solid Stock Art Account and be logged in. The Receipts page allows you to see all the stock photos and illustrations you've purchased for any given transaction.
Where is my downloaded file?
When you click the "Download Stock Art" button your stock art should start to download automatically, however different browsers handle downloads in different manners. I.E and Chrome allow you to select where you'd like to save the file, or it will default to the last place you saved a file. Firefox saves files to your desktop. Safari will save to a "downloads" folder or your desktop. If you can't find your downloaded file contact us, we can hunt it down together.
Can I search by the stock art ID?
There is a reason we stamp the stock art ID in the water mark. Welcome google image traveler. Yes, just put the ID number in our search bar.
How can I use your stock art?
All of our stock photos and illustrations are royalty-free. This Royalty-Free License grants you a single-user, or employer (client) employee, or agent, the right to use the purchased stock art as many times as you like for fine art, prints, websites, books, newspapers, booklets, videos, templates, television, flyers, software, apps, or any other advertising or promotional materials. For specific permitted and forbidden uses of our stock art, please refer to our Royalty-Free License.

What is a Sandbox?
Sandboxes are a tool that allow you to save a collection of stock photos and illustrations you might be interested in. You can share these collections, or buy the whole Sandbox all at once. Click on the star icon to add any file to your sandbox.
What is a Solid Cash?
The Solid Cash is our solution for the corporate or frequent buyer that wants to add a large sum of money to their account for their use or share with a group. Solid Cash is a lot like a gift card, the money in your Solid Cash is dollar for dollar, no conversion. You may within a 7 days period request a return if you did not use the Solid Cash. Otherwise you must spend the amount within one year of the date of purchase.
To add money to your Solid Cash, while logged in, click on your username at the top left, or "Account Home". This will bring you to your account home page. Then click the tab labeled "Solid Cash". You must have a Solid Stock Art Account and be logged in. Follow the instructions on the "Solid Cash" page to add funds to your account.
How do I create a corporate account?
Our corporate account is geared towards ad-firms and large companies dealing with consultants and freelancers. Our corporate accounts let you associate and disassociate people from your account easily all while keeping their accounts active.
As the corporate account admin you may manage rights to share the following:
- Share Sandboxes (artwork you've saved into a collection)
- Share money via the corporate's Solid Cash
- Share corporate's "Purchased Art"
- Share corporate's receipts and invoices.
You'll need to apply for a corporate account. A corporate account is a new account separate even from your own personal account. After the account is set up, you will be linked to the account with admin rights. To apply for a corporate account, while logged in, click on your username at the top left, or "Account Home" from the Navigate tab located top center of the site. This will bring you to your account home page. On the left under "Account" you will see a button called "Edit Profile". You must have a Solid Stock Art Account and be logged in. On the lower right hand side of this page, you'll see a form "request a corporate account". Click the request corporate account. We will review the request and approve or deny the request.
If we grant you access to a new corporate account, you can add people via an email invite, to join your corporate account. As a corporate account manager you can choose who to share your Solid Cash, Purchased Stock Art, Sandboxes, and add or unlink people to your account.
I forgot my password, what do I do?
If you've forgotten your password you can retrieve it by going to the "Sign In" page and click on the forgot password link. A new password will be sent to the email address associated with the account.
If you've forgotten your username, please contact our customer service.
I bought the wrong size stock photo, what now?
If you've purchased a stock photo from us and it's the wrong size for your needs, you'll need to contact our customer service for a refund and or exchange.
How do I register as an artist?
What is a Mafioso Team Bonus?
You get a 5% referral bonus from each of your Mafioso Team members sales (from our side of the sales). As a Solid Stock Artist, if you had invited other artists to our site they can become part of your Mafioso Team if they sign up via YOUR email. This bonus stands for as long as their files are on our site AND as long as you and your team member are uploading to Solid Stock Art. Our invite system is no longer live. Capish! How do I edit my tags and title?
After logging in, find your stock art you want to edit via search, your portfolio or email link. Click the Manage Stock Art link under the thumbnail. This link is hidden for anyone that is not the creator.
The "Manage Stock Art" page is very simple, you are free to change editable data associated with your file. If you need further assistance please contact us.
Why do I need to upload photo I.D.?
How do I receive payment?
A PayPal or Skrill account is required as we deposit your half of the sale price into your PayPal or skrill account eavery seven days. Your current balance must be over 25.00 dollars to reach the payout level. We will send you your money each Friday of each week if you are eligible.
I disagree with an examiner's decision, what can I do?
Most rejections will allow you to resubmit your stock art. Each resubmit you'll get a different examiner. Please remember the examiner did not know who submitted the stock art. Your profile is not part of the examination process. We are not out to hurt your feelings. It's not personal. Please take a few minutes and read what we accept and don't accept.
Rejected stock art WITHOUT a resubmit. We don't take this lightly. If your stock art has been rejected and you are NOT allowed to resubmit your file you may contact Customer Service if you feel we've made a mistake. If our representative feels like you have a valid point, they may request another examiner take a look at the Stock photo or illustration in question.
When do I need a model or property release?
Any time people are captured or rendered that are recognizable in any way, we must have a model release associated with them.
We need a property release for anything that MAY have a copyright, trademark, or may infringe on personal or intellectual property.
